Development on Pause


First off, apologies for the long radio silence.

This year proved to be far more chaotic and overwhelming than I could possibly expect, and it has left me with very little spare time or energy to commit towards this project. 

Rubbing salt in the wound, the code for my player character that was completed and working very well suddenly broke and wouldn't operate with no possible explanation, and nothing is more demotivating then returning to an old project just to be forced to fix/replace old code.

There seems to be no sign of things slowing down, so as of today, Derelict is going to be put on an indefinite development hiatus.

I will instead be putting time and energy into working on a far smaller and manageable game to put out there, rather than investing so much time and energy into what was obviously a significant effort for my first project.
