Hooked! Is a physics-based Metroidvania centered around Grappling Hooks.

I think I'm going to work on this one as my publishable, and I already have plans on what I intend to do with it.

I will add a responsive but light-weight rope simulation for the grappling hook for swinging around corners and for better physics interactions, and I will a modular Grappling Hook with each segment having different stats and unique modifiers.

  1. Launcher 
    1. Launch Speed - How fast the hook is thrown/shot
    2. Winch Speed - How fast you can reel in/out and how much weight you can pull (besides your own)
    3. Rope Length - How long the rope can go
  2. Line (Rope)
    1. Strength - How much weight the rope can take before breaking
    2. Flexibility - How well it bends around corners
    3. Elasticity - How much it can stretch when pulled past its limits.
  3. Hook
    1. Attachable Surfaces - What tiles and objects the hook can cling to
    2. Weight - How much the hook is affected by gravity and drag
    3. "Profile" - A cosmetic value giving you an idea of how wide or thin the hook is
    4. Bounciness - How much it can bounce before despawning.
